Amanda & Paul // Red Agave Adventure Resort Sedona Wedding

February 28, 2022 by Leslie Allred in wedding

Amanda and Paul’s wedding was my last for 2021. Amanda’s details were absolutely incredible. From her flower crown to the donuts, to the largest tent I’ve ever seen at a wedding (by far) and the gorgeous flowers climbing up the post that supported the tent. A highlight of the wedding was watching Amanda put on her flower crown for the first time and seeing her face light up as her wedding dreams came true.

Paul and Amanda had to delay their Sedona wedding for almost a year due to COVID. They did get married on their original date in an intimate ceremony with family back on the other side of the country. Their Sedona wedding celebration was just a year shy of their anniversary, and I believe it was also Amanda’s birthday! This was a great way to end my 2021 wedding season! Raquel & Jarrod // Sky Ranch Lodge Sedona Wedding Celebration

February 28, 2022 by Leslie Allred in wedding

If you scroll down, you will see Raquel and Jarrod’s Grand Canyon elopement. Two weeks later, they went to Sedona and celebrated with family and friends (and kitty!) at Sky Ranch Lodge. I love that this couple wanted both the elopement and big wedding experience, and they made it happen! Their celebration was made complete with a mosh pit (Raquel’s idea, and a first for me to see at a wedding. I also loved the opportunity to really get to know Raquel and Jarrod, as they just radiant joy and kindness. Full film above, preview below.

Lindsey & Duane // Sedona Off Road Elopement

February 28, 2022 by Leslie Allred in elopement

Lindsey and Duane came from Tennessee to elope in a remote location in Sedona, AZ. It was Veteran’s Day, which was lovely as Lindsey is a veteran. The two actually met in high school- Duane was the cute guy that she always wished about. Life took them in different directions for many years, and when they needed each other the most, fate brought them back into each other’s lives. Full film above, preview below.

Sarah & Jordan // Flagstaff Forest Elopement

January 26, 2022 by Leslie Allred in wedding

Sarah and Jordan had a micro wedding under the ponderosa pine trees overlooking beautiful, craggy, wilderness. It’s a journey outside of Flagstaff, AZ to reach this spot, but the effort comes with great reward.

One thing I will never forget about this wedding was the desire Sarah and Jordan had to be surrounded by their loved ones as they kissed for the first time as husband and wife. The photo above is their actual first kiss after they were pronounced man and wife. I had never seen this at ceremony, and it was unforgettable.

Jordan and Sarah are both piano players and met by playing piano at their church. He would help her with keyboard setup on the days he wasn’t playing. Eventually she asked if he could come over and help with her guitar. Real love stories like this are the most wonderful reminder that life is beautiful.

Raquel & Jarrod Grand Canyon Elopement

January 26, 2022 by Leslie Allred in elopement

The day after Halloween (November 1st), I woke up at 3 AM to drive to the south rim to film Raquel and Jarrod’s sunrise elopement at the Grand Canyon. After swerving to miss a huge elk on the 70, I successfully made it to the historical Bucky O’Neill cabin where Raquel and Jarrod snagged a reservation. The Bucky O’Neill cabin was built in 1890 and I was geeking out at the opportunity to film there.

While Jarrod and Raquel were dating they spent an unforgivable evening on the edge of the Grand Canyon that helped form their connection to each other and to nature. The Grand Canyon also brings me incredible peace and connection, and I was so emotional to watch them elope under pink clouds as the sun came up. The energy there is undeniable.

A few weeks after their elopement, Raquel and Jarrod had a wedding in Sedona at Sky Ranch Lodge. Stay tuned for more! Full film above, preview below.

Amber + Alex // L'Auberge de Sedona Elopement

January 20, 2022 by Leslie Allred in elopement

Amber and Alex eloped along the creek at L’Auberge de Sedona. It was an incredibly beautiful ceremony with just the photographer, officiant and I, and a lone fly fisherman in the distance. Their full elopement film will be kept private.

Ashley & Darick // Aldea in the Woods Wedding {Flagstaff Wedding Videographer}

January 10, 2022 by Leslie Allred in wedding

Ashley and Darick had the final 2021 wedding at Aldea Weddings in the Woods. It was a beautiful, crisp day, and the oaks were still showing off their fall covers. This Flagstaff, AZ venue has a beautiful ceremony location nestled under the ponderosas, a large, covered outdoor dining area, and a fabulous deck for a dance floor. I hope to film here more!

During the ceremony and speeches, there was debate about who was going after who throughout high school and the years that followed. I realized this was all a great sign, as it showed that both were a bit obsessed with the other, and neither were afraid to go big to get what they wanted. I also loved hearing about Darick’s camping trips with the guys, and that all the guys 100% love when Ashely comes along, because she makes the trip better. Seeing a community of friends and family rally behind a couple is one of my favorite things about weddings. Full film above, preview below.

Julia & Tyler // Agave of Sedona Wedding Video

December 28, 2021 by Leslie Allred in wedding

858 days. That’s how long Julia and Tyler had to wait to get married. Julia and Tyler were radiating joy the entire day. I seriously felt like I was filming Julia as she experienced her dreams coming true. From her first look with her dad to soaking in the sunset at airpot vortex with Tyler, she loved it all. I am so happy for this sweet couple. They are ready to conquer the world as man and wife. Full film above, preview below.

Kathryn & Kevin // Foxboro Ranch Estates Flagstaff Wedding

December 28, 2021 by Leslie Allred in wedding

When I first met Kathryn, I knew she looked familiar. I quickly learned it’s because her mother is a kindergarten teacher at my children’s elementary school, and Kathryn is a striking resemblance of her mother. Kathryn is also a teacher— a middle school science teacher, and potentially my son’s future science teacher.

One thing that I really remember from this day was the love between Kathryn’s parents. I remember seeing them holding hands, embracing, and stealing kisses. It warmed my heart. I truly get to be around some of the most joyful people as I work. Weddings can be the happiest of times.

Foxboro Ranch looked stunning on this October day. The leaves were gorgeous, the skies were clear, and it was quite chilly, but luckily the indoor reception area is incredibly inviting and cozy. Full film above, preview below.

Amanda & Zeke // The Sycamore Venue in Flagstaff, AZ

December 28, 2021 by Leslie Allred in wedding

The Sycamore Venue is a beautiful new event space in Flagstaff, AZ. There are gorgeous views of the San Francisco Peaks and the white interior and exterior paint on the barn make it a beautiful setting for any style of wedding. I highly recommend it!

Amanda and Zeke are Flagstaff locals who clearly mean a lot to this community. They had a huge crowd rallying behind them to begin their marriage with love and support. Film above, preview below.

Taylor & Kyle // Agave of Sedona Wedding

December 22, 2021 by Leslie Allred in wedding

Taylor and Kyle finally got to celebrate their wedding after COVID foiled their original plans.  They eloped at a courthouse several months before the wedding, but waited to celebrate with friends and family.  The wait was worth it and their ceremony was beautiful.  Taylor’s first look with her father was one of my favorite wedding moments ever. The vows were so heartfelt and having their loved ones there to witness their love was powerful.  The toasts and dances at the reception brought with them all the emotions you hope to feel at a wedding.  There was laughter, tears, good food and drink, and a wild dance floor.

The wedding was held at  Agave of Sedona, and this venue delivers every time. The views are some of the best from any venue in town, the reception area has large windows and room for dancing, there is a full kitchen, and the patio brings extra space for guests to mingle and enjoy the fresh air.

Maggie & Greg // Sedona Adventure Elopement {Sedona Elopement Wedding Videographer}

December 22, 2021 by Leslie Allred in wedding

I met Maggie and Greg at a Flagstaff coffee shop to talk about their wedding vision. As soon as Greg started talking about highlining in his wedding attire to Maggie waiting in her gown, I knew it was going to epic, and I got really excited.

They eloped with their closest family and friends on top of a mountain with some of the best views in Sedona. Greg absolutely nailed his walk on the highline to Maggie, and their vision became a total reality. There was a tarantula, a rainbow, a whole lot of Chacos, and the most supportive family and friends. After, we headed down the mountain by headlamp to a festive pizza dinner in the parking lot. An ideal day for sure.

Lillie and Kevin // Arboretum at Flagstaff Wedding

November 12, 2021 by Leslie Allred in wedding

Lillie and Kevin had a beautiful forest wedding at the Arboretum at Flagstaff. I love this venue. It has the most beautiful ceremony view, with unobstructed views of the San Francisco Peaks. The Arboretum has lovely gardens and pristine forest. It is a joy to shoot at. Lillie had unique requests from me. She didn’t want a highlight film, but an edit of the ceremony in full, speeches in full, and the dances in full. She and Kevin love to dance and choreographed their first dance. Lillie’s dance with here mom was also quite phenomenal, and Kevin’s dance with his mom totally made me cry. Lillie also told me she wanted the speeches in full so she could “remember all the nice things people said about me.” That made me laugh out loud. I couldn’t resist making her a preview, because their wedding had the most fun, swinging vibe. Preview above.

And a huge thanks to Monica Saatay for these BTS photos. She’s the best!!

Shawna & Todd // Sedona Elopement

November 12, 2021 by Leslie Allred in elopement

Shawna and Todd traveled from Kentucky to elope in the red rocks. First off, I loved Shawna’s bold choice to wear black. She looked incredible.

Last year was a tough one as COVID forced them to reschedule their wedding, and their DJ business felt the effects from so many cancelled events. Luckily, there is a time and season to everything. Their business is thriving again, their pups are adorable, and they got married! Shawna and Todd were so thoughtful and sweet, and it was a joy to meet them. Preview above, full film below.
